Mumbai: Indian batting great Sachin Tendulkar and premier fast bowler Zaheer Khan will play for Mumbai against Railways in the Ranji Trophy league opener on Nov. 2 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Both Sachin and Zaheer were included in the 13 member squad.
Ajit Agarkar will captain the side in the four day game. Both Sachin and Zaheer have struggled with the form and trying to get back to their best ahead of the all important England series. India-England will play four match Test series beginning from Nov. 15.
It has been more than two years since Sachin has played for Mumbai with his last match being against UP in Jan. 20i 09.
