Shanghai, (China): Indian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna has set up final clash with the Indo-Czech duo of Leander Paes and Czech partner Radek Stepanek in the Shanghai Masters here today.
The seventh seeded Indian pair reached beat British pair of Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins 6-7 (4) 6-3 10-8 in the semifinals that lasted for an hour and 36 minutes, while the fourth seeded team of Paes and Stepanek overpowered Marin Cilic of Croatia and Brazil's Marcelo Melo 6-0 6-2 in just 57 minutes.
Bhupathi and Bopanna converted only one of their six breakpoints that came their way whereas Paes and Stepanek converted six out of seven breakpoints.
The friends turned foe Bhupathi and Paes will take on each other for the first time in the year and it promises to be a cracker of a match.
