Hong Kong: Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal lost to China's Ling Wang 19-21, 15-21 in the second round of $250,000 Hong Kong Open Super Series being played at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
Saina looked a bit out of sorts in the first game but took the game into the final deciding points. Wang in the end controlled her nerves better and won the first game.
Wang looked in full flow in the second game and defeated the London Olympics bronze medallist quite comfortably in the end.
It was a bad day for India as Pradnya Gadre and Ashwini Ponnappa lost their second round match against Thailand's Duanganong Aroonkesorn and Kunchala Voravichitchaikul.
The mixed doubles pair of Pranaav Chopra and N. Siki Reddy also lost to Chen Xu and Jin Ma.
