Pro Kabaddi League Season 4: 5 players who have wowed us with their game!

The first half of the league entertained us as much as it drove us to the edge of our seat. At this stage, the top four teams are closely stacked in the points table. Patna Pirates is at the top of the table with 30 points. They're followed closely by Jaipur Pink Panthers and Puneri Paltan with 28 and 26 points respectively. Telugu Titans with 24 points is at the fourth position.

Now that all the teams have played half of their matches, this is the perfect time to look back at some of the players who have stood out in the first half of the tournament. Here are the five players from the season 4 of PKL, who have consistently delivered for their team and entertained us with their superb performances.

1. Rakesh Kumar

The ex-Indian captain is the star player of U Mumba in this season. He looked more at ease with Mumba than Patna Pirates with whom he played in the last season. This Arjuna Awardee player has fitted perfectly in the U Mumba set up and have won some crucial matches for his sides. With 21 successful raids and 12 successful tackles, until now, Rakesh Kumar has become one of the most successful players of PKL season 4

Pardeep Narwal

This 19-year old wonder kid from Sonepat has emerged as a sensation in this season of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi. He contributed majorly in the first five wins of Patna Pirates which put them at the top of the table. He has 64 successful raid points until now.

Mohit Chillar

The most expensive player of the league, Mohit Chillar is the star player of the Bengaluru Bulls. Although the Bulls are quite lagging behind in the points tally, but they are still in chance with Mohit Chillar performing so well. He has the most successful number of tackles (27), this season.

Rajesh Narwal

Rajesh Narwal easily qualifies as one of the best all-rounders of this season. Along with Jasvir Singh, Rajesh Narwal scripted the most spectacular wins of Jaipur Pink Panthers in this edition of Pro Kabaddi League. His 16 points helped Jaipur register that jaw-dropping score of 51 against Dabang Delhi and win by a margin of 25 points.

Manjeet Chillar

The Puneri Paltan captain has been in a dream run of form, this season. With 23 tackles, Manjeet Chillar has made the life difficult for the raiders playing against the Paltan. His inspirational leadership is one of the major reasons Puneri Paltan are at the second place in the point tally.
