Basketball: Bhullar, Stockton Continue to Shine for Bighorns

The two Kings prospects put up massive stat lines against the Bakersfield Jam on Saturday.

The Reno Bighorns high-octane offense met up with the Bakersfield Jam on Saturday in Reno. Although the Bighorns came out on the short end of the contest, the usual suspects showed out for the Kings D-League affiliate.

7-foot-5 center Sim Bhullar is also playing extremely well in March, averaging 12.7 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 3.8 blocks per game.


On Saturday against Bakersfield he nearly tallied his second triple-double of the season, recording 16 points, 16 rebounds, and seven blocks.


Meanwhile, David Stockton continued his recent string of stellar performances, tallying 32 points, 11 assists and five rebounds in 42 minutes of action.


“Young Stock” is now averaging 34.7 points, 12.5 assists and 4.8 rebounds in the month of March.
