New Delhi: The XV Invitational Inter-College Basketball Tournament started at YMCA on Jan. 16 with a match played between Lady Shri Ram (LSR) and Miranda House. The tournament, which is in its 15th year, is a very popular tournament between colleges.

It was a one-sided affair in which girls from LSR thrashed Miranda house 47-11. After the win LSR captain Vandini said, “We worked really for the win; we have been training hard and will look forward to carry this form throughout the tournament. It was a team effort and our coach Sudhir Jahkhar helped us a lot.”

“As the coach of the team I would like to see my team perform well all the time. In this match we showed our class,” said Jhakhar.
