St.Columbus, M.K.Bagrodia, Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura & Modern B.K.Road win

New Delhi: Mahindra Youth Football Challenge kicked-off in New Delhi at the Ganga International School, Hiran Kundana. Four matches were played on Day 1 of the 2nd edition of the Mahindra Youth Football Challenge. The matches were Ryan Rohini vs M.K.Bagrodia, St.Columbus vs Ryan Vikas Puri, Modern B.K.Road vs.  St. Margret and B.B.P.S.Pitampura vs. G.D.Goenka. 

 

The first match of the Mahindra Youth Football Challenge 2011 saw Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura beat G.D.Goenka 4-3 in a tie-breaker as the 50-minute match was not able to yield a result.

 

In a second match, St.Colombus dominated the match from the start and three players scored goals to beat Ryan, Vikas Puri 3-0. Kham Suantian, Kaizad Biek, Shadjhlau hit a goal each.

 

Excitement came live on the field in the match between M.K.Bagrodia and Ryan Rohini as five goals were scored from M.K.Bagrodia team. Prashant scored two goals along with Yash, Arnav, Ayush to beat Ryan Rohini 5-0.

 

In the last match of the day, St.Margret School was beaten by Modern B.K.Road 0-4. Prakash scored two goals and his teammates Raghav Sharma and Mudhut hit a score each.

 

Results

 

MATCH 1: BBPS Pitampura Vs G.D.Goenka

 

The match between Bal Bharti Public School, Pitampura and G.D.Goenka was taken to the tie-breaker as both the teams could not score till last minute. The match ended with B.B.P.S.Pitampura beating G.D,Goenka 4-3.

 

Match 2 : St. Columbus Vs. Ryan, Vikas Puri.

St. Columbus defeated Ryan, Vikas Puri 3-0.

Contributions – St. Columbus – Kham Suantian, Khaizad Biek and Shadjhlau scored a goal each.

 

MATCH 3 :M.K.Bagrodia Vs Ryan, Rohini.

M.K.Bagrodia defeated Ryan, Rohini 5-0.

 

Contributions – M.K.Bagrodia – Prashant scored 2 goals and Yash, Arnav, Ayush scored a goal each.

 

Match 4 : Modern B.K.Road Vs. St.Margret

 

Modern B.K Road defeated St.Margret 4-0.

 

Contributions – Modern B.K.Road – Prakash scored 2 goals; Raghav Sharma, Mudhut scored a goal each.
