Chandigarh: Keeping all rules and safety norms aside, the colleges participating in the ongoing Inter-College Softball Championship were seen fielding their players without helmet, which is must as a safety gear, at Panjab University (PU) grounds here today.
A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament, but only three teams have headgears. The rest of the teams were seen asking helmets from one another.
It was witnessed during a softball match between PU Campus and Post Graduate Government College for Boys, Sector 11, when players of both teams failed to turn up without headgears.
