Panchkula: Ace cueist Aneesh Saini routed Sameer Bhalla to win the final of the senior snooker and billiards category during the 26th Haryana State Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship being held here today.

Sameer went down against Aneesh by 3-1. Aneesh Saini kept his cool and won the first frame on the blue ball, while in the second frame, Sameer Bhalla hit a break of 41 points but Aneesh Saini potted two pink balls top win the frame.

Sameer Bhalla came back in the match after making hit breaks of 32 and 42 but later in the fourth frame Aneesh made break of 46 points on yellow ball to name the match.

Earlier in the semifinals, Aneesh defeated Umesh Gupta on black ball of the decider frame, while Sameer overcame Divya Sharma by 3-0.
