New Delhi: Mohd Saeed of Magic Mind Carrom Club claimed the Delhi State Carrom Championship title after defeating his teammate J Zahid 17-23, 25-01, 21-11 in a nail-biting final at Thyagraj Sports Complex.

Mohd Waseem (Manzar) secured the third position. In the women's singles Bharti Narayan of LIC crushed Parvesh Thakur of LIC 25-06, 25-04 in a one-sided final. Meena Bhagchandani of DDA finished third.

Dr. SP Bansal, Commissioner (Planning) Delhi Development Authority gave away the prizes to the proud winners and runners-up respectively.
