New Delhi: Guru Gobind Singh College, Lucknow beat Malwa Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana by 2-0 in an one-sided match in 34th Nehru Sub-junior Hockey Tournament being played at Shivaji Stadium in New Delhi, on Thursday.

GGSC, Lucknow scored goals in the 34th and 38th minute of the match. The goal scorers of the match were Ankit Yadav and Ajay Prajapati, respectively. Malwa Khalsa Senior Seconday School, Ludhiana could not manage a single goal.

In the second match, Birsa Mandir Vidyapeeth, Rourkela beat Army boys Sports College, Faizabad by 5-2.The goal scorere of the match were Sudeep, Rajat and Paulus who hit the wooden plank in the 8th, 49th and 63rd minutes, respectively for the Birsa Mandir. Army Sports College could manage two goals through Ashish in 63rd and 68th minute. 

In the third match played on Thursday, VSA Senior Secondary School, Khera Garhi draw with St Ignatius High School, Gumla (Jharkhand).

In the fourth match of the day, Sri Guru Hari Secondary Secondary School, Sirsa (Haryana) beat Govt Model High School, Sector 42, Chandigarh.
