New Delhi: Government Boys Senior Secondary School (GBSS), Ranikhera (Delhi) beat St. Anthony’s High School, Monte-di Guirim, Goa by 12-0 in a one-sided match in 34th  Nehru Sub Junior Hockey Tournament being played at Shivaji Stadium in New Delhi, on Friday.

 

The goals were scored at regular intervals in the 15th, 17th, 24th, 28th, 34th, 52nd,55th, 56th, 58th,58th, 61st, 67th  minute of the match by the Delhi school. The goal scorer of the match was Mantosh, Vaibhav, Virender, Rajesh, Ganesh, Ranjeet and Bobby K.R. respectively while Anthony School could not score any goal.

 

In the second match, SDN Senior Secondary School, Rajinandgaon (Chattisgarh) beat Government Senior Secondary School, Mandla (M.P.) by 8-1. The goal scorers of the match were Sukhdev Patel, Arjun Yadav, Aditya Meshram, Shree Kumar and Pranjal Yadav in the 5th, 12th, 14th,35th, 58th, 59th and 70th minute respectively.                                                                 

 

Govind Dury in the 29th minute scored the sole goal for Mandla school.

 

In the third match played on Friday, Army Boys Sports College, Faizabad (U.P) beat Jai Bharti Public School, Kotdwara (Uttarakhand) in a one sided match by 24-0.

 

In the fourth match played on Friday, Mayo College, Ajmer (Rajasthan) drew the match with Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hussainpur, Kapurthalla (Punjab) 5-5.
