Noida: In an exciting second round football match, Amity Business School (ABS) team overpowered combined team of Amity School of Hospitality and Amity Institute of Travel and Tourism (ASH/AITT) during Sangathan 2016 at Amity Campus, Sector 125 Noida.
The game started well in favour of Amity Business School with Aryan Aggarwal scoring the first goal in first 7th minute of the game which gave ABS a lead with 1-0 score. During the first half of the game, ABS had the majority of the possession and the brilliant defense work didn’t let team ASH/AITT get onto the score sheet.
During the second half, Team ASH/AITT exerted pressure on the defence of ABS and it was not long before Gaurav shot from range into the top right hand corner at 20th minute of the game bringing the score to 1-1.
The second half of the game ended with equal goals on score board with referee announcing for penalty shoot-out to decide the winner.
During the penalty shoot-out, Shoaib, Gaurav and Jonty of Team ASH/AITT succeeded in marking the goals while Naydo and Edd couldn’t score. Showing the penalty expertise skills, Siddhartha, Shaurya, Pourosh and Saahib scored goals for Team ABS and finished the game with 5-4 win.
