Mumbai: Cathedral and John Connon, Mumbai, represented by Ahaan Nath and Aryaan Nath, lifted the Evolution Golf Western India Inter-Schools Championship, sanctioned by Indian Golf Union, beating Army Public School, Mumbai (represented by Keshav Mishra and Kaustubh Mishra) by a single stroke at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club, here on Tuesday.

The Nath brothers, who last year narrowly lost the championship in a sudden death play-off, came good this year by shooting two rounds of even par 70 each to get the better of the Army Public School lads.

Last year’s winners Bishop School, Pune finished third. The Pune school was represented byTanmay Negi and Kanishka Lunkad.
Over 60 schools from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Madhya Pradesh took part in this tournament jointly instituted by Indian Golf Union, Evolution Golf and Bombay Presidency Golf Club in 2012.
