New Delhi: Delhi United Football Club opened their campaign in style to score a 3-1 convincing win over Tarun Sangha FC to gain three full points in the inaugural match of the Delhi Soccer Association ( DSA ) Super - eight league.

Tarun Sangha FC took 1-0 lead in the 38th minute. A brace by Delhi United Nigerian striker Sola in the 41st and 56th minute to take a 2-1 lead. In the 76th minute, Obed completed tally 3 - 1.

In another match, IAF (Palam) rallied to hold Youngmen SC (1 – 1) to a draw to share equal points. Youngmen SC took 1-0 lead in 48th minute. IAF (Palam) equalised score 1 - 1 in 49th minute.

Earlier the super league was inaugurated by DSA managing committee member Hafiz Shahid.
