Hindustan FC Pump In 12 Goals Against Goodwill FC

Solutrean-Bonjour-Hindustan FC register the biggest win of the on-going Delhi Senior Division Super League on Wednesday, having thrashed Goodwill FC 12-1 at the Ambedkar Stadium.

Having registered just a point in their last two outings, a big win was necessary to keep their title hope alive and HFC just did that, riding on their Nigerian striker O.O. Sola's five goals.

Sola opened the gateway in the 5th minute before Ajay Bhartwal doubled the lead two minutes later. Goodwill then tried coming back till the 27th minute when Khemson Kabui pumped in the 3rd goal before Bhartwal scored his 2nd. Jagdeep then made it 5-0 just before the half-time whistle.

On resumption, Sola run riot and scored his 2nd goal after 4 minutes. Rishi Kapoor then added his name on the score sheet in the 54th minute before Bhartwal completed his hat-trick 10 minutes later.

The match was still not over as O.O. Sola scored three more goals in a span of 10 minutes to take his tally to five. Substitute Deepak Mehra scored one more goal in between the three goals of Sola.

With this win, Hindustan FC have 10 points from 5 outings and are placed 3rd on the table. They still have two match two play before the champion team is decided.
