Kochi: Punjab Police defeated Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), Chennai, 69-65 to enter the final of the 26th Federation Cup basketball championship, being played at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

Amritpal Singh and Jagdeep Singh starred for the winning team in the close fought contest.
In the other semifinal ONGC (Dehradun) defeated Central Excise (Kochi) 47-44 to set up a clash with Punjab Police in the finals.
