Bayern Munich have all the arsenal to be a dominant force in Germany yet again

Bayern Munich FCBayern Munich would look to continue their dominant run this season as well as their new manager Carlo Ancelloti takes charge. With Pep Guardiola refusing to renew his contract and taking up a new challenge in the form of Premier League at Manchester City, Ancelloti is all set to take Bayern forward.

Bayern Munich have made some excellent signings this season, signing one of the brightest young prospect in Europe in the name of Renato Sanches. This young midfielder has shown amazing performances at Sporting Lisbon and for Portugal in Euros as well. He scored a brilliant goal in the knockout stages and created some excellent chances in the other matches as well. Overall he looks a player who is all set to light up the Bundesliga with his creativity.

Another top class signing was of Ex- Borussia Dortmund captain Matt Hummels. One of the best defenders in Europe would strengthen Bayern’s team even more pairing alongside his German teammate Jerome Boateng. It would become very difficult to penetrate Bayern’s defence as two of the best defenders playing together.

Bayern have got two world class players in almost every position which shows the depth and the bench strength they have will help them in competing in all the three competitions. Their Superman sweeper keeper Manuel Neuer who is a very experienced keeper now and is very difficult to beat, marshals his defence well too. It would be interesting to see where Phillip Lahm plays under Carlo Ancelloti. Whether he continues in midfield or will Carlo Ancelloti shifts him back to his traditional Right-back spot during his tenure. They also have the versatility of David Alaba who can play in many positions as well. Not to forget young Kimmich who had a brilliant last season unexpectedly starting in 21 league matches. Looks a very intelligent player and can make some crucial interceptions in crunch situations.

Bayern have a lot of variety in midfield. They dominate and control their game through midfield as they have all the basis covered in the area.   Players like Javi Martinez, Xabi Alonso, Thiago and Arturo Vidal in the CM role show the quality they posses in their squad. Javi Martinez was injured last season but is a top-quality player and can play the holding role really well. Xabi Alonso brings all his experience and long passing skills into Bayern’s play. He’s already played under Ancelloti in Real Madrid and won a UCL as well. He would like to re-unite and win that again, adding laurels to his trophy cabinet.

Arturo Vidal proved his worth in the second half of the season after he was signed from Juventus last season. The amount of chances he created for the team last season were huge. Coming back after winning his 2nd Copa America his morale would be very high and would look to achieve success for his club as well. Renato Sanches coming in would be an asset as well in the position.

Some pacy and top quality wingers with a mix of experience and youth -- experience in the form of Robben, Ribery and Thomas Muller and youth in the form of Douglas Costa and Kingsley Coman. These players can tear defences apart on their day. With so much of competition in this spot, it would be interesting to see who plays most of the games for the team. As Robben and Ribery are injury prone, Costa and Coman can fill their spots as they are set to create an impact.

Who better do you need than one of the best strikers in the world Robert Lewandowski to complete your squad. This player is in his form of his life scoring 30 goals for Bayern last season, 5 of them coming in 9 minutes after coming on as a substitute against Wolfsburg. Lewandowski is a complete striker who can head the ball, has got pace, has got strength and can hit the ball with some real power. He covers all the attributes a striker should have. Young Robert Green is a good backup forward Bayern has.

Bayern look very solid on paper and with Carlo Ancelloti coming in, he has a very good record of winning trophies they look to continue their Bundesliga winning run.
