Royals, CSK start as favourites to win CLT20

cskchrismorriscelebratesdravidswicketNow that we are done with the qualifiers of the Champions League the missing spots have been filled by Sunrisers Hyderabad and Otago Volts, teams that go into the main event. While many would have been surprised to see the way Volts played, Sunrisers were always favourites to go through to the main draw, given their foreign strength.

While T20 is more of a gamble where any team can get the better off the other team on their day, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings are more likely to go through to the business end of the tournament without any major hiccups.

Both the teams look much more organised than the other two Indian teams and have more match winners who can turn it around when the moment comes. Having said that Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad are not too far behind and their chances of going through to the last four is as good as any other team.

Both the teams, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Supers Kings are led by two stalwarts of the game and their cool and calm composure can be the decisive factor at the end of the tournament.

Royals have a very good batting line-up with the likes Sanju Samson, Shane Watson and Ajinkya Rahane forming the top-order followed by Stuart Binny and Kevin Cooper who are brilliant strikers of a cricket ball.

Chennai Super Kings will match spot by spot when it comes to batting line-up with Hussey, Raina and Bravo who would be given the responsibilty of doing the bulk of the work for the team.

The bowling also looks pretty good for both the teams with descent seaming options but Chennai Super Kings probably will have the upper hand in bowling as Rajasthan Royals lacks good spinning options which they can very well make it up with their batting and fielding.
