Delhi Daredevils (DD) are looking forward to turn the tables when they meet Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Feroze Shah Kotla on Friday. Delhi had played well in their last two matches but unfortunately were on the losing side and a collective team efforts is needed to put them back on the right track. David Warner has scored two half-centuries till now and if gets a good support at the other end he can make a much bigger impact for his team.
On the other hand, with two victories under their belt, SRH would be looking for their first away-win of the season. Dale Steyn and Ishant Sharma can be very lethal at bouncy wicket of Feroze Shah Kotla. Amit Mishra, who has played a pivotal role in winning those two fixtures, would be ready to unleash himself on his home-ground.

Here we bring to you the players who can make their team to come on the top.

Delhi Daredevils (DD)

David Warner: Warner has been in a brilliant touch but has been running out of partners. He has been more watchful and is taking only calculated risks. His fielding efforts are always a motivation for the players around him and a match-winner of his class is a great asset for the team.

Virender Sehwag: Delhi Daredevils has missed him very badly at the top of the order. With his inclusion in the squad, a turnaround can be expected for Delhi Daredevils. He was the highest run-getter for the daredevils last season and would be looking forward to keep that prolific form in his first match of this edition of IPL.

Mahela Jayawardene: He needs to show his mettle not only as a captain but also as a batsman. He has been in and out of form in the three outings till now but playing at home venue should get the best out of him. There is only one way to leave those failures behind and that is by start winning the matches.

Umesh Yadav: Yadav has done well at Kotla and is expected to come up with more brilliant spells. His subtle variations has bagged him few wickets but he needs to be more consistent with that irrespective of where he is playing. He can be the trump card in today’s match for Delhi Daredevils.

Manprit Juneja: He batted brilliantly while chasing a total of 209 against Mumbai Indians. He scored 49 off 40 balls and was looking for that outside chance to stun the Mumbai Indians. Though that didn’t happen, his performance didn’t get unnoticed. He is expected to score well in the upcoming fixtures for Daredevils.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Dale Steyn: Dale Steyn has been brilliant with the ball. Though he didn’t get wickets in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he gave away just 16 runs in his four overs. In any format of the game, this will be rated as a high-quality bowling and at Kotla where he will get much more assistance from wicket, he can be the trump card for SRH.

Amit Mishra: Mishra got smacked for 42 runs in his four overs against RCB but still he is one of the best spin bowlers in this tournament. Bowling against Warner and Sehwag is never an easy task, but he is looking pumped up to take the challenge. He had played an instrumental role in winning those first two matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Ishant Sharma: Playing at home ground is always a special feeling but he will be looking for much more than that when he will take on Virender Sehwag. His experience of bowling against Sehwag and Warner will come into account for when SRH take on DD at Feroze Shah Kotla.

Kumar Sangakkara: Sangakkara has not yet lived up the expectation but in a crunch match like this he should set an example for his team. His batting unit does not look in good knick to chase the big score but they have to play out of their skins to defeat Delhi Daredevils.

Cameron White: White has clicked at the very right moment for his team. Though his 52 runs off 36 balls went in vain against RCB, but his being in-form has brought a new lease of life for SRH. They needed depth in their batting line-up which can come handy in the death overs and White is a tailor-made batsman for that situation.
