Sunrisers Hyderabad are all ready to take on the mighty Chennai super Kings at Hyderabad in their sixth home game of the season. With Dale Steyn and Ishant Sharma peaking at the right time for Hyderabad, it’s not going to be an easy task for Mike Hussey and Suresh Raina to score against them. But MS Dhoni has played some ruthless innings in the past and his form will prove decisive. It’s also going to be interesting to see how Shikhar Dhawan goes against the CSK bowlers.
Here we bring to you the players to watch out for in the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)
Shikhar Dhawan: Dhawan has added loads of strength to the batting of Sunrisers Hyderabad and would be looking to give his team another flying start. He scored a half-century against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk and would be looking to replicate his performance in Hyderabad.
Hanuma Vihari: Vihari has batted sensibly in almost all the matches. His sound technique makes him a much-needed player in the middle order. He just needs to keep a price on his wicket and he can led his side to a big score.
Dale Steyn: Steyn got smashed by Dhoni when these two powerhouses went head to head against each other and would be looking to do a payback with his furious deliveries. His four overs will surely determine the balance of the match.
Ishant Sharma: Sharma has done well in the last few matches and would be looking to be amongst the wickets against the formidable batting line-up of Chennai.
Karan Sharma: Sharma was brilliant in the last encounter between these two sides as he gave away just eight runs in his four overs. He has bowled some magical spells so far and would be looking to restrict the opposition with his leg-spin.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
MS Dhoni: Dhoni has played some match-winning innings in this IPL and would be looking forward to do the same. But the road is not easy as SRH has not lost a single home game and have the ability to restrict the opposition to a low-score. Dhoni would like to pull out a magical performance before making it to the play-offs.
Mike Hussey: Hussey has not fired since last few matches and against Mumbai Indians he was lucky enough to get three lives. It will be a litmus test for him in Hyderabad. A class player like him is expected to score well on the turning track of Hyderabad.
Suresh Raina: It will be interesting to see how he tackles the pace of Steyn and Ishant in this crunch match. He has performed well in the last few matches and would be itching to be amongst runs against Hyderabad. His ability to hold the innings together makes him a trump-card in CSK’s batting line-up.
Dwayne Bravo: Bravo has been the leading wicket-taker for CSK. He has mostly bowled in death overs. He has all the variations to dismiss the best in the business and it would be interesting to see how he will respond under pressure.
Ravindra Jadeja: Jadeja picked up three wickets in the last match against Mumbai and would be looking to make the most of the track at Hyderabad. He can also be of great use with the bat as he has that ability to score some quick runs when he comes lower down the order.
