I know making a comeback into Indian team is not an easy task: Sreesanth

sreesanthJaipur: Sreesanth is now fully fit and ready to show the magic of his swing bowling again. The ‘Kerala Express’ has shown the spark in the Ranji matches he played this season and he is looking fit enough to bowl long spells. He is known for his aggression and he has not lost even a bit of it but yes he did made some crucial changes in his run-up which is now shortened up to 27 yards.

When asked about his recent performances in Ranji he said, "I had bowled more than 150 overs in three Ranji matches which I played this season and I feel I am fully fit. The last season went in drain for me as I had to face many injuries during a short span of time. But I'm not scared of those anymore and I won't compromise on my bowling speed.”

The nippy pacer, who was today picked in the Rest of India squad, said that he was focused on his preparations and doing all the hard work to get back on the field and play for India. "I want to make most of whatever opportunities I get in near future. I know making a comeback into Indian team is not an easy task but my job is to give my best and keep getting better and better. I am not thinking of selections too much I want to keep it simple and want to focus on preparations and play with same passion as I did earlier."

"I never thought I would be able to sit before you people addressing a press conference. I had sustained about dozen fractures in my toe and never thought I would play again. I am thankful to BCCI, Rajasthan Royals and many others,” said Sreesanth.

"After two months on wheelchair, I had to walk around in crutches for another three months. But now I have no fear in my mind and want to bowl as fast ever. I want to cover up for what I have missed in past one and a half years," added the pacer.
