Ahmedabad: Cheteshwar Pujara (133*) and Yuvraj Singh (72*) put India in a commanding position at Lunch on day two of the first Test between India and England being played at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad.
Pujara who was unbeaten on 98 last night completed a brilliant hundred hitting a single of Stuart Broad towards fine-leg. Yuvraj at the other end had a close escape against Graeme Swann but came back strongly to hit the off-spinner over the long-off boundary for a massive six.
Both Pujara and Yuvraj then got in the grove, with Yuvraj being more attacking with his stroke-play. He soon completed his half-century.
India reached 410 at lunch and the batsmen will be looking to take the score close to 600 in the coming two sessions.
