Ahmedabad: England fast bowler Steve Finn who was suffering from thigh strain will not play in the first Test against England starting Nov. 15 confirmed England skipper Alastair Cook.

Cook said that Finn won’t be the part of the playing eleven that will take the field tomorrow.

Finn might be replaced by Tim Bresnan in the squad or England also have an option of going with Monty Panesar as the third spinner alongside Graeme Swann and all-rounder Samit Patel.
