Mumbai: Manoj Tiwary who scored a brilliant 93 for India A against England XI in the warm-up match said that he is ready for Test cricket. The number six spot in the Indian batting line-up is up for grabs and there is stiff competition between Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh and Tiwary for the spot, with Raina and Yuvraj being the prime contenders.

Tiwary after the knock said that he is ready for Test cricket and said that he will try his best and the rest is up to the selectors.

Tiwary has been a part of the Indian team for almost all the ODI series and T20 series but hasn’t got much chance; he has only played eight ODIs till now.

On the England bowlers that he faced in his innings, Tiwary said that England have a quality attack. He said that English batsmen will find it tough against the Indian spinners in the Test series.
