New Delhi: Japanese women’s team defeated Kazakhstan women’s team 11-0 on the second day of the Hero Hockey World League Round 2 Delhi 2013 played at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium today.

Mazuki Arai (5th min, 29th min & 37th min), Shiho Sakai (10th min penalty corner), Miyuki Nakagawa (13th min), Yuri Nagai (16th min), Kumi Banda (34th min penalty corner), Ayaka Nishimura (42nd min), Akiko Ota (46th min penalty corner) & Rika Komazawa (59th min) scored goals at regular intervals in a one sided match to claim victory. The 8th goal for Japan was an own goal.

Japan’s Sachimi Iwao was adjudged Player-of-the-Match.

Japan will now face Russia on Thursday, 21 February 2013 and Kazakhstan will play against Malaysia on 21st February 2013.
