Perth: India continued their dismal run from the London Olympics into the Lanco International Super Series Hockey Tournament as they crashed to a 1-2defeat against England here on Thursday.

Gurvinder Singh Chandi gave India the lead, before England struck twice through Daniel Fox and David Condon to seal the match.

India will now lock horns with Australia today before taking on the arch-nemesis Pakistan tomorrow.

Meanwhile, another match, Jamie scored twice to help Australia defeat Pakistan 4-2. Liam de Young and Beale Daniel were the other goal-scorers for the hosts while Abdul Haseem Khan and Muhammad Rizwan Sr sounded the cage for Pakistan.
