Mumbai: The Pro-Am event of the CG Open 2011 was won by professional Ranjit Singh and his team at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club on Sunday.
The Pro-Am was played in the team scramble format where the team’s best ball was chosen on every shot including the putting green.
After the best ball was chosen all other players were to place their ball within one score card length before continuing play.
PGTI member Ranjit Singh led his team to victory with a score of 54.6. Ranjit’s team comprised of amateurs Harish Mehta, Hemesh Patel and Harjot Grewal.
PGTI member Kunal Bhasin’s team posted a score of 55.2 to finish second. Kunal’s team comprised of amateurs Zach Yusuf, Ram Kevalramani and Avnish Kumar.
