Chennai: Karnataka won both the boys and girls' titles in the South Zone National sub-junior hockey championship for the Mayor Era. Sambantham Cup here on Saturday. While the boys handed out a 3-2 defeat to Tamil Nadu in the final, the girls trounced the same opponents 8-0.
Mariam Koshy, President, Hockey India, presided over and gave away the prizes.
