If he gets going in Test matches, he can do what Viru paaji used to do for India: Kohli on Shikhar Dhawan

Mighty impressed with Shikhar Dhawan after his blazing 173 in the one-off Test against Bangladesh, India captain Virat Kohli said that the opener has it in him to emulate the swashbuckling Virender Sehwag at the top of the order, says a report in Calcutta Telegraph.

"For Shikhar, we were always confident that if he gets going in Test matches, he can do what Viru paaji (Sehwag) used to because he is one player who can turn the session around. He can emulate Virender Sehwag. Hopefully, Shikhar will carry the confidence of this game into other series in future," said Kohli at the end of the final day's play.
According to a report in The Hindu, Virat Kohli was pleased with the good work of his bowlers after enforcing the follow-on against Bangladesh on the fifth and final day of the rain-affected Test match here on Sunday.

“This is the way we want to play our cricket. We only had two days of proper cricket, if you take the whole game. The one thing that was very pleasing in the bowling was the intensity and intent shown throughout to take wickets in any situation of the game,” said Kohli in the post-match press conference.

The Hindu report adds that Kohli heaped praise on off-spinners Harbhajan Singh and R. Ashwin. “I think both enjoyed bowling together — if one put pressure, the other took a wicket and vice-versa. It was really pleasing to watch them bowl together.”

The skipper said the team gave full support to Harbhajan on his comeback. “We said, ‘This is not your comeback. You were just injured for a while and you are back now — that should be your mindset. We know you can win us a game’. He was pretty confident as well.”
