Baltej’s bowling put Punjab in front

 

Chandigarh: Punjab’s medium pace bowler Baltej Singh took a five wicket haul on the third day of the ongoing Col. CK Nayudu Trophy cricket final for boys (U-22), being held at Feroze Shah Kotla ground, Delhi.

 

Delhi opened their third day with a score of 133 for 4, but Baltej’s bowling shortened the host total to 163 for 7. Baltej, routed opener of the day Milind Kumar on 51 off 105 and Manan Sharma, who failed to open his account.

 

Arjun Gupata crucial unbeaten knock of 65 resulted in Delhi reaching the total of 279 at the end of the day.
