Brisbane: Swashbuckling Indian opener Virender Sehwag indicated that he would try and reform his batting style and look to improve his batting up the order to be able to win matches for India.
"I have been dismissed five times at third man or at the slips. I am looking at my performance and I have to improve for the side to win matches," said Sehwag. "I think I have to leave a couple of balls early in the innings and then take the bowlers later on," added Sehwag.
Sehwag who was the stand in captain in place of MS Dhoni felt that team as a whole needs to blamed as none one perform well. He felt that the bowlers gave away too many runs in the slog overs and the batsmen failed yet again in the tournament.
"We didn't bowl well in the final 10 overs and we didn't bat well later on,” said Sehwag.
But Sehwag is still optimistic and feel that India still stand a chance to proceed to the finals and if they play to their potential they would definitely proceed to the summit clash.
