New Delhi: Star Indian left-hander Yuvraj Singh has made a comeback into the Indian Test team for the first two Tests against England. Yuvraj has replaced Suresh Raina who had a poor outing against New Zealand in the last Test series that India played.
The other players who have been dropped from the squad that was picked against New Zealand are Piyush Chawla and S Badrinath. The players who have replaced them are veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and opening batsman Murali Vijay.
There were some talks about injuries to Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan but both the player have been picked in the fifteen member squad.
Yuvraj had earlier made a dream comeback into the Indian T20 squad after successfully battling the rare germ cell cancer.
