Montreal: India's Sania Mirza and Leander Paes advanced into the quarterfinals of the Rogers Cup tennis doubles with their respective partners whereas their compatriots Rohan Bopanna and Mahesh Bhupathi teaming up together crashed out of pre-quarterfinals rounds.
Sania pairing with Bethanie Mattek-Sands of America defeated the Slovak duo of Dominika Cibulkova and Daniela Hantuchova 6-2, 6-3, in a match that lasted for an hour and nine minutes on Friday.

Sixth seeds Bhupathi and Bopanna, who got a bye in their first round match, were beaten by the team of Australian Paul Hanley and Serb Nenad Zimonjic in straight sets, 4-6, 6-7 (6).
