Meanwhile Leander Paes said to play through another generation was a great joy. "I believe we got to go out there and execute. I am looking forward to the tie. The team looks fabulous in terms of mix of youth and experience. Somdev is spearhead of our team. To play through another generation is a great joy," he added.
Meanwhile Somdev said he would do his best to execute the plan. “Hopefully I will do my best to execute the plan tomorrow and try and get a point to us. My opponent is obviously young and he is playing Davis Cup because he has something in him."
Earlier on Wednesday, speaking about his relationship with Paes, Somdev has said that he might be having difference of opinion with Leander but there was no animosity between them.
"There is no animosity. It is great to be back in the Davis Cup team. We are having a good time and in fact, went bowling last night. There is no animosity between me and Leander. It is not that we have met here for the first time. We have been seeing each other in tours. We still think highly of him and his credentials speak of themselves," he said.
