Godrej Eon Tour De India to host the final leg at Buddh Circuit

New Delhi: Godrej Eon Tour de India (TDI) 2012, the biggest cycling race in the country organized by ID Sports and presented by Hero Cycles will hold its finale in Buddh Circuit. This is the first time that cycling event will be staged at the Formula One track, witnessing celebrity grandprix with 60 personalities together at F1 track in New Delhi. The Organizing committee consists of ID Sports and Cycling Federation of India. Godrej Eon Tour de India 2012, India’s biggest cycling event in the country is being promoted by Maharashtra cycling Association, Tourism Ministry, Cycling Federation of India and ID Sports. The new avatar of the ‘cyclothon’ will kick off with the Mumbai leg on December 2nd and then the bandwagon will move to the cool climes of Srinagar on December 4 and finally concluding at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on December 9.


ID Sports has conducted 4 Cyclothons in the last 2 years, 1st year was in association with Salman Khan tapping 2 major metros close to 15,000 riders across the 4 races and 2nd year saw the race going to Nasik ghats with finales again in Mumbai in 2011 with more than 17000 riders burning the roads. As a platform growing in size and impact, this year in 2012, the cycling celebration will see a mix of world tour teams, continental teams and presence from national federations as well.
