Sports have always had a deep link with the glamour and when the two meet, it makes for a heady cocktail and while many sustain their relationships due to reasons unknown, many have seemed to found their soul mates. These WAGS (Wife and Girlfriends) are always in news and at times hog more limelight than their male counterparts.
With the Euro 2012 in progress, lot of these WAGS would be seen in attendance and along with their partners they also are sure to make news. They would be seen cheering for their respective partners and teams and we have tried to zero in on five of the hottest WAGS at the Euro 2012. The list is the not the ultimate one and might vary from person to person. It is solely based on as to who we think are the hottest.
Shakira: The hips don’t lie star needs to introduction, but the Columbian pop star would seen in a total different role in the 2012 Euro Cup. Shakira made it official in March 2011 that she is dating Barcelona centre back Gerard Pique. With Pique now a part of the Spain’s Euro campaign, expect Shakira to shake some hips every time Pique blocks a player or if Spain scores. 
Alex Curran: The 29-year British Model would be seen in Euro cheering for her husband Steven Gerrard. She is a fashion columnist for the Daily Mirror and the model is married to Gerrard since 2007. She is described as the leading WAGS of the England Team and Times in 2007 referred to her as the “uber WAG”. Curran also has owns a fragrance line and is one of the top sellers since 2007.
Sara Tomassi: She is a heartthrob of millions around the World but then Mario Balotelli is the one who finds a special place in heart. Sara is an Italian model and actress and in 2008 made her debut in the Italian movie Ultimi della. She does appear on calendars and TV serials as well. 
Alena Buffon: Alena is a super model and is the wife of Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. A beauty queen she is originally from Czech Republic but now is based out of Italy. She was chosen to co host the famous Italian TV show Torno Sabato.The 31-year old model appeared on the cover of lot of magazines such as Penthouse Europe, Playboy Europe amongst others. Alena also co-owns the clothing-line Baci e Abbracci with Buffon's former national teammate, Christian Vieri.
Coleen Rooney: Coleen Rooney, who is a TV presenter, columnist and is a celebrity product endorser, is the better half of Wayne Rooney. They are a high school couple and they are dubbed as Wayleen. They got married in the year 2009. Coleen is a notable columnist and is one of the most stylish women in the England. She endorses Nike’s Women Sportswear, writes stylebooks for Harper and Collins and also is the face of Asda.
