International Wrestler Sangram Singh announces launch of ‘Champion’s Pro Kushti’

Champions Pro Kushti logoMumbai: International Wrestler and Champion, Sangram Singh, today announced the launch of ‘Champion Pro Kushti’ in Mumbai. He is promoting this platform along with Janardan Pandey, entrepreneur and wrestling lover, which is adapted from the ancient Indian martial art form of Malla Yuddha. Sangram Singh’s Champion’s Pro Kushti is backed by the prestigious association of World Wrestling Professional – South Africa. The support was announced by Mark A. Beale, President, WWP – South Africa.

The first match of Champion’s Pro Kushti is christened ‘Kushti For A Cause’, is going to be played at Mohali on February 06th, 2016. Three international wrestlers, two from South Africa and one from Turkey from the WWP will fight with Sangram Singh in this maiden tussle. This is the first match Sangram will play on the soil of his motherland as an international champion wrestler. Proceedings from this match will be donated towards welfare of cancer patients from economically weaker sections of society.

After careful evaluation, the WWP South Africa has not only decided to participate but also adopt the format of the Champion Pro Kushti for the Commonwealth Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, a world renowned title won by Sangram Singh himself.

Speaking at the occasion, Sangram Singh said, “This sport has given me an identity on the world platform. It is a matter of great pride for me to host this prestigious international championship matches and great sense of honor to have it happen in the Champion’s Pro Kushti Format.”

Co-promoter Janardan Pandey expressed his unparalleled passion for the sport and deep sense of gratitude by saying, “We Indian’s know that the origin of all the forms of wrestling and martial arts comes from the times immemorial of our great civilization. Finding internationally acclaimed platform for this dynamic sport only validate its evergreen appeal among players and fans.”

Mr. Sangram Singh, the current champion will be defending his title & the belt against the World’s top wrestlers. The Commonwealth Championship will be held early 2016 & the dates with other relevant details will be announced during our Chandigarh match conference.
