Sunrisers Hyderabad: The dark horses of IPL-9

David Warner Sunrisers HyderabadThe Sunrisers Hyderabad are one of the dark horses this season. Led by David Warner, the side has a lot of match winners who can change the game whenever they wish too.

The Sunrisers lost their first two games and didn’t have a start they would have liked. They then got their act together and won three out of fives, winning three in a row. David Warner has been a very crucial player for them in this Indian Premier League as he is also fighting for the Orange Cap.

Known as the Orange Army the Sunrisers have one of the best bowling line-ups this season which makes them a special team. With the likes of Ashish Nehra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Trent Boult and Mustafizur Rehman, their pace bowling attack is probably the best this season.

Having players like Yuvraj Singh and Kane Williamson out of the squad is not something any team wishes which they have to go through as of now. The comeback of these two, which is expected in a week, is a very good sign in the team as these two players will provide the stability required by them.

Shikhar Dhawan, who was in a need of runs, has played a couple of good knocks which again is a big positive sign for the team. If Shikhar can fire up the order with Warner, it is the perfect platform for players like Eoin Morgan and Moises Henriques to get them the big total which their experienced bowlers will fancy defending. They are an amazing side and have some match winners in both their bowling as well as their batting.

Laxman and Muralitharan would look to provide these players the motivation and boost they need to play as a team and make contributions. They are a very balanced side which gives them an upper hand against the opposition and they can be very brutal on their days.

They are the dark horses this Indian Premier League as they have a lot of match winner’s which make them a special side. Having converted their home as fortress they would surely look to maintain that record and keep rising at their home.
