Chandigarh: Punjab lost six early wickets against Maharastra on the third day of the four day quarter final match of the Cooch Behar Trophy (for under-19 boys). Chasing the target of 399 runs, Punjab started their day with a total of 41 runs; A. Pursharty (71) and Sunny Sohal (49) enabled the team to lift the total to 231 runs for the loss of six wickets.
At the end of the day Maninder Singh (8) and V Choudhary (16) remained unbeaten.
