Chandigarh: Tennis player Karan Patnaik overcame Rohit Dhiman in a one-sided affair to win the final of Ld Kapoor Memorial YMCA Total Tennis Championship being held here today.

In the final of men’s category, Karan defeated Rohit 6-3,6-3.

In the boys (U-12), Shivam Vij of DAV Public School was given a tough competition by Shreyash Chopra.

After three hard-fought sets, Shivam took the first game without facing any difficulty but Shreyash came back after winning the second set 4-2. But Shivam won the third set 4-2 and 4-2 to win the title.

The boys (U-10) title went to Chiraz Singh who thrashed Parnav Chopra in straight sets 4-0,4-0, while Rohit Berwal routed Rohit Dhiman to win the boys(U-14) title.
