Rohtak: Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Hockey Patiala in a one-sided affair with a score of 7-0, while Hockey Gangpur-Odisha beat Hockey Karnataka 3-1 in the 6th Hockey India Sub-junior Women National Championship 2016 (A Division) being held in Rohtak, Haryana, on Tuesday.

The second match of Pool B between Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Hockey Patiala started on an attacking note by Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy as the first goal was taken by Meena Chakra in the 34th minute. After the first half Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy took six consecutively more goals leaving no passage for the Hockey Patiala team.

The second match in Pool D was played between Hockey Gangpur-Odisha and Hockey Karnataka. The first half of the match was in favour of Hockey Karnataka as Meghana.s scored the first goal in the 35th minute. In the second half Hockey Gangpur-Odisha took over the lead with Jiwan Kishori Toppo from the team scoring the first goal in 38th minute. The team continued to take two more goal and the match end with a score of 3-1 in favour of Hockey Gangpur-Odisha.
