20-day annual summer coaching camp for Sub Junior/Junior boys & girls from May 18

Chandigarh: The Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration is organizinng 20 days Annual Summer Coaching Camp for Sub Junior/Junior boys & girls with effect from 18th May to 8th June, 2015 at various Coaching Centres in all the recognized disciplines.

Around 700 players of different sports disciplines will be imparted training during the evening session as per schedule. The players will be provided refreshment @ Rs.50/- per head per day in the shape of mango juice and tonned milk during the camp days. The players of various sports disciplines will be benefitted from the participation in the said coaching camp, which may act as reagent to lure/motivate the players for more and more participation in the sports in general. The main purpose of the annual summer coaching camp to impart physical fitness and enhance endurance.

A Committee has already been constituted for checking of camp and proper distribution of refreshment.

The Sports Department is also conducting the conditioning High Altitude Camp at Manali (H.P.) for the players of Chandigarh Football, Hockey & Cricket Academy from 9th to 23rd June, 2015.
