Chandigarh: Chess players, Anubhav Tuknayat and Tejas Nagpal, made a three-point lead during the opening day of Chandigarh Open and Boys and Girls (U-17) Chess Championship, being held at St Xavier’s School, Sector 44, today.

A total of 46 boys and girls are participating in the chess championship out of which, the top two players (each category) will be selected to represent the city in the forthcoming National for Boys and Girls (U-17) to be held at Pondicherry from July 16 to 27.
