England are up against Haryana in their last warm-up match before the four match Test series kicks-off in Ahmadabad from Nov. 15. Their past two warm-up matches have ended without a result and England will be hoping to get a win behind their back against a Haryana and this time they have four days to finish of the job.
It is being said that a green track has been prepared for this match to provide England as little chance of playing on the spinning tracks as possible. England team have looked good in patches in the past two practice match and will be looking to click as a team before the India series starts.
For Haryana, it is a golden opportunity to test themselves against one of the best sides in the world.

England XI
Kevin Pietersen: Pietersen made a comeback in the England Test squad after a series of controversies and the focus will be on him in the upcoming series. People have said it already that Pietersen’s inclusion is a great thing for English team as he is the man most suited to score on the slow and low pitches. Pietersen still hasn’t done much on the tour, but he is a kind of player who needs a big stage to challenge him which he hasn’t got till now. His captain will be hoping for a descent score from him in this match.
Ian Bell: Bell is a key member in the England batting line-up and he will have to score big if England has to win the series. Bell has had problems against spin in the past. but his form coming into the tournament has been very good. He will be looking to have a descent innings before he take on the Indians in the first Test.
Samit Patel: He has been the man in form for England in the past two warm-up matches. Patel scored a century in the first match and played a good knock in the second. He has also picked up wickets, Patel will like to continue his good run.
Tim Bresnan: There is some problem in the English camp as two of their fast bowlers, Steven Finn and Stuart Broad have had injury issues in the past few days. That makes the role of Bresnan that more important. He troubled Indians in the previous Test series and will be looking to do the same if he gets the opportunity. He is a more than a handy batsman as well.
Haryana:
Amit Mishra: The captain of Haryana has a tough task ahead of himself. He is a very good leg-spinner and replaced Anil Kumble in the Indian Test team, but off late he has somewhat faded. His performance has dipped and that has had an effect on the selection. Mishra will know that it is a big stage and a good spell here will be noticed.
Rahul Dewan: He is one of the most experienced batsman in the young Haryana team. He averages 40 with the bat and has five centuries to his name.
Sanjay Budhwar: The new ball bowler from Haryana has impressed with his performance. His bowling average of 28 is impressive and he has already taken five 5 wickets-haul.
