New Delhi: After a year of scintillating action on the field, as well as tremendous endeavour and improvement off it, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Annual Awards 2015 will celebrate the best of Asian football on November 29 in New Delhi, India.

The world class international gala event will light up Delhi’s magnificent Kingdom of Dreams on Sunday evening starting at 7pm local time, and honour the stars of Asian football.

AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa said: “The AFC is proud to bring the biggest Asian football gala event to India. The AFC Annual Awards celebrates the best in Asian football, and India, with its impressive mix of cultures and colourful traditions, is a perfect setting for the event.”

President of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Praful Patel said: “The All India Football Federation is honoured that the AFC has chosen India as the host for this year’s Annual Awards. India has a rapidly growing football base and we look forward to welcoming Asian football’s finest to Delhi.”

The hosts of the show will be TV anchor and sports presenter Gaurav Kapur and singer, actress and anchor Shibani Dandekar. Gaurav Kapur said: "I love the fact that we have become a true sporting nation, where all sports are being loved and supported. Looking forward to honouring the best in Asian football at Kingdom of Dreams this Sunday."

At its Annual Awards, the AFC recognises the continent’s brightest stars and exceptional Member Associations in various categories. The award categories are:

d.National Team of the Year (men and women)

e.Coach of the Year (men’s team, women’s team)

f.Player of the Year
