West Indies agree to play against India, Sachin all set to appear in 200th Test in front of home crowd

Mumbai: West Indies Cricket Board has agreed to play a Test and ODI Series in India in November which will also feature the 200th Test of Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar, who has played 198 Tests so far, will reach the feat of playing 200th Test which will again setup one of those records which might take ages to be broken.

Both BCCI and WICB are trying to make the most of this gap which is available during November. On this tour of India, West Indies will be playing a two-Test series and three one-day internationals.

This might come as a shocking move as it is just coming before the India tour to South Africa which has been the centre of attention from the very beginning of this year. The South Africa’s tour will be commencing from December but it looks like that BCCI wanted it’s most valuable player, Sachin Tendulkar, to play that historic Test in front of his home crowd.

For the West Indies, the Indian tour will precede the trip to New Zealand, which is scheduled to commence on December 3 and will conclude on January 15 next year.

West Indies last faced India in a limited-overs series earlier this year in the Caribbean. India won that tri-nation series which also involved Sri Lanka.
