New Delhi: Harbhajan Singh’s may be in and out of the national squad for quite some time now but the off-spinner is taking it all as a learning curve from his life. He believes his ideology of “valuing the relationships” will surely make him rise above all.
During his interaction with media on Sunday, Turbanator was quoted saying, "Playing 100 Tests is a great feeling but what more important is the relationship that I had made over the period of time. I have always believed that with whomsoever I play, I should maintain a very cordial relationship because at the end of the day being a good human being is what all that matters.”
Bhajji went on to say, “The day I bid adieu to the game I want out of 100 people atleast 90 to say that I was a good human being. This special feeling is something I play cricket for not just for wickets but for the respect of people whom I am entertaining.”
Harbhajan confessed that he was slightly nervous while playing his 100th Test but he was back in the rhythm in the second innings of the very same Test. "The journey of playing these 100 odd Tests is quite exciting and the day I played my 100th Test, I just got bit nervous and didn’t bowled as captain wanted me to but I came up as a better bowler in the second innings. In Hyderabad Test, I did well in the first innings but I didn’t get much chance to bowl in the second innings as other bowlers were chipping in with wickets.”
Harbhajan wants to start IPL 6 with a positive mind-set. “Teams success matters a lot on the performance of individual players and that’s what I am focusing on. Positive mind-set can take me to the highest level of the game and let me give my 100 percent to make Mumbai Indians champion this time. The best thing that happened this time is Anil bhai will be there. He is just a class player who has this ability to read what’s going on inside others head and that will not only help me but every individual.”
