India-England ODIs to start early because of dew factor

New Delhi: The start time for the first four of the five match ODI series between Indian and England starting from January 11 has been preponed owing to the due factor which would likely hamper the playing conditions and affect the result of the matches.

The matches which were earlier scheduled to start from 2:30 pm have been advanced and now the play would start at 12 noon.

"The timings of the day-night matches have been revised, to counter the "dew factor" and ensure the best playing conditions for both the teams," a BCCI media release said.

The venues that would see a change in timings are Rajkot, Kochi, Ranchi and Mohali.

The last ODI will be played at the Dharamsala; a day match that would start at 9:00 am.
