Yuvraj is a fighter, but don't create so much hype on his return: Dhoni

Visakhapatnam: Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni ahead of the first T20 match against New Zealand said that people should not put unnecessary pressure on Yuvraj Singh after his comeback from fighting cancer.

Dhoni said that people need to keep as normal as possible and should not create hype around the swashbuckling left-hander.

Indian media is going crazy over Yuvraj’s return and Dhoni isn’t happy about it. He said that the whole world is talking about his comeback and is thinking that they are helping
Yuvraj but this is not true as it puts burden on the individual.

Dhoni said that Yuvraj Singh is a tough character and he has fought his way into the team. Dhoni advised Yuvraj to keep it simple and just enjoy the game and should not think about anything else.

On Yuvraj being a part of the camp after such a long time, Dhoni said that the manner in which he is joking around and enjoying himself it does not look that he has been away from the game.

About the pitch, Dhoni said that it looks a good wicket and the ball should come nicely on to the bat.

New Zealand skipper Ross Taylor said that it is great that Yuvraj is back in the Indian squad and it is going to be a competitive environment once the players take the field.
